This is both funny and scary. I will point the finger at the incredible technological advancement. Brainwashing everyone to think there is a quick fix for everything.

Apart from paper, paints and brushes you will need a pot of patience too. There are times when painting in the magical medium, you just have to let your paint dry. Watch as it plays on the paper, observe with amazement at the marks created.

I teach a regular class and a couple of them are going through a challenging period in their lives. But when they leave they say how wonderful it is to be able to get completely lost in what they are doing. Never thinking about their problems just enjoying the process.

It really is magic. So cultivate your pot of patience, give it lots of love and it will serve you well.
