Colours are so different. I can't say what a big difference it has made. The procedure really isn't as awful as you might think & worth every eye drop
About three years ago, an optician in England said I had the beginning of cataracts. I didn't give it much more thought until I went for some new glasses at home in France. I was then told that the glasses were useless and that I needed to get my cataracts sorted out first. So it began.
The picture I've used here is snapped from the internet and isn't brilliant, but it exactly sums up the the difference in my vision.
I had both done in the space of 5 weeks and the difference was amazing. It was quite entertaining when the first was done to keep closing one eye then the other to see the difference.
I haven't done any painting yet but it will be interesting to see how the colours look.
The procedure was not painful, just mildly uncomfortable, and that was caused mostly by the eye drops. The whole thing took about 5 hours. So If you are dithering, don't. Get it done and you will see the light (sorry for the bad joke.)
